承接過去兩次跟四川災區學生的交流，我們在十二月的時候組織了一次探訪，延續對四川受災同胞的關愛。我們一行六人，在12月22日到26 日到訪四川安縣秀水中學(下稱"秀中")。在那裡，我們舉行了英語培訓班和聖誕聯歡晚會，與師生們一起經歷災後第一個寒冬。我們也去探訪一些受災嚴重的學生家庭，向他們轉達香港同胞的慰問。我們都被他們頑強的生命力所打動。

寒冬阻擋不了四川同胞重建家園的決心。但令人揪心的是，我們看見有些學生在寒風中顫抖的樣子。因此，當我們回港後，就立即在教會和學校裡籌款(感謝主，在匯基(東九龍)，我們共籌得港幣38400元)，訂購禦寒衣物，趕及在春節前給秀中的師生們，帶來一點温暖。我們打算在今年暑假在四川安縣舉辦夏令營，跟他們共過一個有意義的暑假。希望您們繼續為四川災民禱告，他們需要我們的關心和愛。

To continue our care and love to the students in the Sichuan earthquake-hit regions, we, a small group of Christians, organized a 5-day visit to Anxian Xiushui Middle School (安縣秀水中學) from 22nd to 26th December last year. During our stay, we held English classes and a Christmas Eve Party for them, and visited some of the students' homes which were severely damaged.

While the bitterly freezing weather, in the first winter after the devastating 5.12 earthquake, could not thwart the Sichuan people's resolution in reconstructing their homes, it is heartrending to see their bodies shivering and teeth chattering. They felt cold! Answering their silent call for help, we raised funds in different churches and in our school for purchasing warm clothing for them. Thanks to our colleagues' generous donation, we raised $38,400 just in UCCKE. Glory to the Lord!

We are going to organize a summer camp for the students in Xiushui, Sichuan this year, to continually deliver our love to them and their families. Details will be announced later. They need and cherish our care and love. Let keep praying for them.
